The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are currently working with a leading mid-tier practice firm to recruit an Assistant Manager to join their growing risk assurance team in Milton Keynes. Working with a mixed portfolio of clients in the public and private sector, you will be managing a variety of complex assignments from initial scope to completion.
Working closely with senior management, you will be responsible for preparing the Internal Audit Strategy for a selection of small, less complex clients. You will also be liaising with Client Senior Management to agree project plans, timeline and deliverables and proactively report on all progress. You will be leading and supervising more junior team members on individual assignments including technical audit guidance and providing training as required.

Based in Milton Keynes, the client base will see you working across the Northern Home Counties and can include Essex/Reading dependant on where you are based.
Ideally you will be an ambitious individual who is, articulate, comfortable working to deadlines and has at least three years internal audit experience. This experience can be gained from either an in-house or practice environment. You will be fully qualified (CIA/ACA/ACCA) and have a real interest in solving clients problems.
