The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company is assisting a Top 10 professional services firm to recruit an Assistant Manager to join their Technology Risk Assurance team in London. You will be working with a range of commercial and not-for-profit clients and provide varied services contributing to the continuous growth of the TRA team while supporting external and internal audit work. You will also have opportunities to work on project-based engagements including cybersecurity, IT IA, Cloud, IT Governance and Technology Resilience.
As an Assistant Manager you will be expected to have a strong IT audit background and be able to deliver ITGC for simple and complex clients. You will be working closely with the senior leadership team, while leading small teams of IT audit specialists and managing budgets and deliverables.
As a successful candidate you will be CISA qualified and may also have other qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). You will have sound technological knowledge and experience in IT general controls and application control reviews and understand the implications of control deficiencies.
You are likely to work with retail, manufacturing, gaming, financial services, technology, public or professional services, thus any experience in these sectors would be beneficial. You will also have experience in SAP, Oracle and Dynamics AX audits.
This position will suit a technically strong individual who enjoys working in a meritocratic environment and is keen to progress within 6-12 months. A great opportunity for those looking for a first step into management and who want to work with an interesting and a varied client base.
