Audit Relationship Lead

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are working with a non-governmental organisation that establishes and maintains technical standards for a unique industrial sector. Our client has mandated us to find someone who can act as the key point of contact within their organisation for all interactions between themselves and their Big 4 Audit partner. This is a great role for someone with a background in Audit who might be looking for a change of career path, or a relationship manager who understands the Audit process.
The primary responsibility of this role is to be the fulcrum of enquiries by the External Auditors, and the person within the organisation responsible for facilitating the successful completion of the Audit programme. Through your gained knowledge of the organisation and relationships built with senior stakeholders, you will know the correct person to speak to about Audit enquiries and facilitate these in the correct manner. Utilising your excellent communication skills, you will be able to sensitively manage any difficulties or problems that may arise. Using stakeholder engagement skills, you will make sure that all enquiries are promptly and effectively delivered as required by the Auditors.
Our client is looking for someone who is immediately available, or able to start a new role within a couple of weeks. Key requirements for this role are excellent communication skills, experience of working with senior stakeholders and knowledge of External Audit and the work of the Big 4 accountancy practices.
