Director of Risk, Assurance and Compliance
£120,000-£130,000 base salary + bonus + car allowance
The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are working with an international security services business headquartered in the UK. Our client is looking to find a Director of Risk, Assurance and Compliance for one if it’s largest divisions. This role will report to the Director of Finance with dotted lines into Legal, Audit and Operations.
The post-holder will have responsibilities for Risk Management, Financial Controls, Compliance (including Investigations) and Contract Assurance, with 9 temporary resources reporting to them and 1 permanent Risk & Assurance Manager. You will have ownership of the Risk Management framework for this division, working closely with the business to align the framework to the Group’s Risk appetite. You will provide assurance to the group by overseeing Internal Audit and Control reviews. You will support and advise the group on the efficacy of it’s Minimum Financial Control Framework. You will also act as regional lead for Compliance investigations, whether these are contractual, commercial or a result of whistleblowing. You will appropriately delegate or deliver on these in accordance with Risk mitigation strategies. You will be subject matter expert for Risk, Assurance and Compliance divisionally and as part of the Group.
The ideal candidate will have extensive post-qualification experience in Audit and Risk Management. You must also have a good grasp of Compliance and Investigations from an audit and risk perspective. You will be a leader with prior line management responsibilities.
