The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are working with a FTSE 100 business based in London. We are helping them to source a talented Risk and Controls Manager who will determine the strategic agenda for Risk and Controls whilst line managing 2 direct reports.
This would be the ideal role for a high-performing Senior Manager with experience at a top consultancy to join a FTSE 100 group. It sits within Corporate Finance and reports to the Director of Financial Controls. This will be a highly visible role with access to senior management and the opportunities that brings.
You will use your strategic mindset and ability to think ahead to develop a best-in-class internal controls framework covering Finance, Operations and IT. Using your stakeholder engagement skills, you will drive a strong Controls culture and promote Risk Management awareness. You will also act in an advisory capacity, interacting with the leadership team to ensure improvements in controls and process are at the forefront of decision making.
It’s also important that you have line management experience. You will be managing 2 Internal Controls specialists and will need to have the sufficient experience and knowledge to do nurture the team and drive productivity.
