The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been mandated by a Top 10 practice firm to help recruit a Director level candidate to join their evolving and fast-growing risk assurance function, focusing on financial services clients.
This is a newly created leadership position in the department, where as the successful candidate you will be working closely with the supportive Partner group. The team has undergone significant change and has received major investment over the last 12 months as they have continued to win new work and open new revenue streams. You will be tasked with aiding the Partners with the future and continued growth of the department, and you will oversee a portfolio of clients focused on fully outsourced internal audit work, co-sourced internal audit work and various assurance assignments.
This is an ambitious team and as the incumbent you will be expected to have an appetite for, and a demonstrable background in business development, and be able to maintain and build on existing client relationships. This is a diverse role where you will not be confined to one sector, you will likely work with clients across retail/commercial banking, asset and fund management, securities, investment banking, insurance, property traders and FX trading.
To be considered you will have an ACA/ACCA qualification and have relevant experience working for a top 10 practice firm, or have extensive experience working for a large in-house function within industry. You will be proactive, engaging and able to influence external and internal stakeholders.
