The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are working with a leading retailer in the UK, to find an ambitious Audit professional.
This role reports to the Head of Audit. You will be working alongside other Audit Managers, Directors and Heads of Audit. This role also works with Operational Stakeholders, at all levels of the organisation including Business Leader level.
Audit Managers have full accountability for leading end to end audits including financial and operational audits, taking a leadership and coaching role in in many of the group projects.
Audit Managers also manage and strengthen key relationships within the business and are the main point of contact for assigned business units to understand the operations and drive improvements in the control environment.
There are progression opportunities within the team to move into other areas of the business such as Finance or Operations as well the potential for short-term secondments to other areas of the business.
Candidates are expected to have a strong academic and internal audit track record and be either CIMA, ACA, ACCA or IIA qualified. They should also have a high level of business understanding and the ability to empathise with stakeholders and identify pragmatic solutions which address the key risks identified.
