Internal Audit Manager-Big 4

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC), are assisting one of the Big 4 Practice Firms, in finding a new Internal Audit Manager. This well-established firm have taken on some exciting new clients in the National Markets and are looking for professionals who will help them develop and establish these new projects, in addition to working a variety of other engagements.

 

The main role of the Internal Audit Manager will be to establish and review internal audits and provide annual audit plans for clients. Within this there involves risk management, and governance, as well as SOX advisory, implementation and testing. You would be expected to deliver internal audit control and risk training, whilst also being required to coach and provide appraisals of junior staff. It would be an important aspect of the role to maintain and develop relationships with clients as well as identify new potential relationships. The Internal Audit manager will possess up to date knowledge with client’s industry specific issues. Regular travel around the Midlands and occasional international travel is also required in the role.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Full accounting or internal auditing qualification such as; IIA, CCAB, ICAEW or equivalent
  • 2.1 degree or above
  • Practice experience
  • Experience in managing Internal Audit or Risk management engagements

 

Preferences for the role include:

  • Experience of managing global teams
  • SOX testing, and SOX implementation project experience
