The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been asked by a FTSE 100 Media and Technology business based in west London to help recruit an Internal Audit Manager.
About the role:
This role provides an exceptional opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic auditor to play a crucial role in a technology driven, highly complex FTSE 100 business.
The role sits in a dedicated operational and finance IA team within a wider audit team of 35, and reports into the Group Finance Audit Director.
As an Internal Audit Manager, you will help provide value-adding and highly effective audit reviews to the Group through a combination of operational audit reviews, risk assessment, project assurance and other ad-hoc reviews as required.
This is a dynamic cutting-edge business that moves incredibly quickly in a highly competitive market, and the well-established, talented audit team is critical in helping the business achieve its goals. The team has considerable buy in from senior stakeholders from within the business and there is a primary focus on adding value.
The role involves international travel up to 50% max, this is most likely to be within Europe and typically Monday – Thursday and will likely reduce after 12-18 months in role.
Internal Audit Manager profile:
· Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA etc.)
· Background from with a leading practice firm (Big 4 etc.)
· Demonstrable internal audit experience in a complex organisation
· Commercial mindset, with a focus on adding genuine value to the business
· Confidence, assertiveness and excellent inter-personal skills when engaging with stakeholders
