The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company are working with a major UK Infrastructure company on a Lead Internal Auditor role.
This team gives assurance to some of the biggest Infrastructure projects in the UK. They manage projects through controls, processes, and procedures to give greater transparency and accountability.
The Lead Internal Auditor will manage Health & Safety and Operational Audits through transparency of controls, clear accountability of responsibilities, a meaningful audit trail, and a rigorous risk management process.
They will report into the Internal Audit Manager and lead on specific projects. Candidates should have either an accountancy qualification or an Internal Audit qualification. project Management qualifications would also be a bonus.
They are looking for someone with a good understanding of Operational Internal Audit. Health & Safety experience is not required. Candidates will also need to understand Internal Audit methodology and Risk Management frameworks.
Candidates will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written and verbal, including report writing. Good problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills will also be key attributes.
