The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are delighted to be partnering with an instantly recognisable charity to help recruit a Senior Internal Auditor. Initially this will be a 12-month FTC, but there is a possibility this will either be extended or made permanent.
The charity itself is integral to the daily life of hundreds and thousands of families in the UK. The work they do has benefited millions in the UK since its inception and it continues to play a crucial role in providing support to communities today.
As the successful candidate, your primary objectives are to assist in assuring that there are sufficient, effective, and appropriate controls in place which are working as designed to mitigate against risks posing a significant threat to the achievement of the organisation’s key objectives and to objectively review and ensure the organisation complies with internal regulations and established control protocols.
To be considered for this role you will likely be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIA), although we will consider QBE candidates. You will have internal audit experience, and it would be advantageous although not essential to have experience in the charity sector. Alongside internal audit there will also be opportunities to work across Data Protection and any experience completing local risk assessments etc. is desirable.
There is little to no travel for this role, and due to the current climate remote onboarding and working has been fully integrated. Due to this role being an FTC, candidates with a short notice period or are immediately available are encouraged to apply.
