The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor for one the UK’s leading accountancy practice firms as a result of recent contract wins and further expansion plans.
Reporting to a supportive senior management team, this firm put a heavy emphasis on continuous personal and professional development, with examples of new hires being promoted within their first six months.
Joining their impressive public-sector team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the management of a series of complex assignments from initial scoping and planning stages through to reporting. Your main responsibilities will be providing value by leading internal audits, identifying risks and proposing recommendations which are appropriate, practical and cost-effective to your respective clients. You will also be encouraged to recommend improvements to audit practices and processes.
A full internal audit or accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIA) is sought as is a minimum of 3 years internal audit experience. Prior experience working within the public sector or with public sector clients is not required.
