The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are currently working with a leading mid-tier practice firm to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing internal audit team nationwide. This role will see you working with a mixed portfolio of clients with opportunities to work across their public sector and corporate clients. You will be managing a variety of complex assignments from initial scope to completion.
Reporting to a supportive senior management team, this firm put a heavy emphasis on continuous personal and professional development, with examples of new hires being promoted within their first six months. There is also the option of working on a purely public sector or corporate portfolio if you wish, dependent on your preference and experience.
This is a largely autonomous role which will suit a confident individual who is comfortable making business decisions, but also possesses the self-awareness to seek guidance from senior management when necessary. Your main responsibilities will be providing value by conducting internal audits, identifying risks and proposing recommendations which are appropriate, practical and cost-effective to your respective clients. You will also be encouraged to take a leading role with supporting and developing junior members of the team.
To be considered for this role you are likely to hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA), and have a real interest in improving and aiding clients business risks. Ideally you will have an internal audit background and this can come from either an in house role or from a Top 20 practice firm.
