The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor for a global Oil & Gas business headquartered in London.
We are looking for an experienced internal audit professional to play a key role in the development of this emerging team. You will support the newly appointed Head of Internal Audit & Risk in the day-to-day running of the department as well as leading audits and taking ownership of all phases of the audit process from planning through to completion.
You will play a leading role in the delivery of a broad internal audit plan encompassing financial and operational audits. There is a plan to grow the function in the coming years and the Senior Internal Auditor is likely to progress to a more senior position within the team in due course.
This role is home-based for now, the office is in London with flexible working arrangements in place post-lockdown. The role expects to require international travel of circa 30% when allowed and safe to do so.
The ideal candidate will be:
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with an internal audit background in a corporate
- An understanding of fraud, bribery and corruptions risks
- An understanding of supply chain management processes
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A confident, assertive manner balance with tact and diplomacy
The base salary for this role is up to £75,000,000 base salary with package on top.
