The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are delighted to be recruiting for this world renowned international charity. This is a newly created role for a growing charity where revenues are expected to exceed £1bn for the financial year, due to its entrepreneurial nature in its approach whilst maintaining its public service ethos and charitable purpose.
Reporting into a supportive leadership team where you will have the autonomy to succeed, you will be responsible for leading and conducting the preparation, planning, execution and reporting of risk-based audits, primarily focusing on their Corporate portfolio of audits i.e. global support functions, global strategic business units and change programmes based in the UK. You will be able to communicate with all areas of the business as you will be analysing complex situations and issues whilst providing value and adding insight by identifying key themes to facilitate management action.
You are likely to be ACA/ACCA/CIA qualified and have a real interest and passion for the charitable sector. This is an interesting role where you will play a pivotal role in the development of the department, and you will be ambitious and enjoy striving to complete challenging goals and push for excellence. Ideally you will come from an internal audit background, and any programme assurance experience will be highly valued but candidates coming from an external audit background are encouraged to apply.
