The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are delighted to have been engaged to recruit a Senior Manager into a key growth department of a Top 10 Practice firm. While you will have the branding and infrastructure of a large professional services firm at your disposal, as the successful candidate you will essentially be joining a 'start up' function, and as such will have the ability to directly influence the strategic shape of the department.
Working under the established advisory service line this team predominantly focuses on managing 3rd party risk and supplier contracts. This area has become a targeted area of growth during the recent pandemic, and will see you advising clients throughout the contracting lifecycle, including procurement advisory, contract and commercial management, commercial audits, cost reduction etc. You will also play a key role in supporting the growth of the Commercial & Contract Risk team through business development activities, and experience of selling consultancy work in either a Big 4 or top 10 environment is preferable.
This is a skilled role rather than sector specific and you will have an opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors including but not limited to Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Technology, Pharma and Hospitality. The vast majority of the clients are either FTSE 100 or Fortune 500 listed and as such demonstrable experience of working with large multinational organisations is an essential skillset.

Because of the recent pandemic this will initially be a remote working role but the expectation is that when 'normality' returns some office time will be essential. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to make Director within the next 2 years and sees their long term future within practice. Candidates coming from industry are encouraged to apply if they do have prior demonstrable experience of working within practice.
You are likely to have come from an auditing background and hold an ACA/ACCA qualification and if you hold an IACCM that would be highly desirable. To be considered you will have a deep understanding of procurement, contract and commercial governance and experience in negotiating and contract exits.
