The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is working on an exclusive role for a financial service company based in Kent who are looking for a SOX auditor. Having recently acquired a new business and with plans to move into Europe, the company is rapidly growing. You will sit as an SME within the business and will help to implement SOX controls as well as manage the existing control framework.
Applications to work part time (three days a week) are being considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for all areas of the SOX compliance program, including planning, communicating with stakeholders, analysing findings and liaising with senior management.
- Ensure that internal control documents are compliant with SOX requirements.
- Ensuring business units compliance with risk assessment, including fraud risks and entity level controls.
- Provide expertise and insight into operations and provide corrective actions and improvements where necessary.
Requirements
- Internal Audit and/or SOX experience
- Experience of developing controls.
- Background in IT Controls would be a plus·
- Newly qualified or CIMA, CISA, IIA, PIIA would be a plus.
