SOX Compliance Manager

Fashion e-Commerce Business

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are working exclusively with a recently listed online fashion retail platform. We are helping them to find a SOX Compliance Manager for their Operations department. Our client is currently going through a period of exponential growth. Due to their listing, they are now obligated to be SOX compliant and are committed to 100% compliance to minimise the risk they face. They now require a 2nd or 3rd line of defence Audit or Controls professional to join Operations and help them to implement compliant internal controls and processes.

Key responsibilities will involve quickly understanding business Operations, particularly with regards to the movements of stock, and putting a roadmap in place to ensure SOX compliant processes and controls. You well then implement this plan. You will also partner with stakeholders across Audit, Finance and Operations to better understand the risks to SOX compliance and work to mitigate against them. Guided by data, you will monitor and flag any risks to the relevant stakeholders and ensure they are investigated. You will help to coach stakeholders within Operations on the importance of SOX compliance.

Our client is looking for someone with strong experience in SOX compliance from a 2nd or 3rd line perspective. Due to the nature of this role, any experience in stock management, warehouses, e-commerce, and retail will be highly regarded. You must have excellent stakeholder engagement experience and be confident presenting data and analysis at all levels of seniority.
