The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company is currently working with a FTSE 100 Technology & Telecommunications company to help them rapidly expand their 2nd LoD Technology Strategy & Assurance team.

The growing function is responsible for monitoring and mitigating key technology risks, driving a risk awareness culture, and promoting a risk-sensitive approach to processes, architectures, applications, and platforms within Technology.

The key technology risks currently in scope are Cyber Security, Technology Resilience, IT Transformation, Shadow IT and Lifecycle Management.

The Technology Assurance Specialist will be required to shape and drive the technology resilience program in all markets and group functions while supporting financials and related controls. In this role you will transform the way that this FTSE 100 manages technology Resilience risk, so that they can achieve the risk tolerance targets as set by the Board.

This role requires a high calibre individual with a strong growing strategy mind-set. You will have experience in Technology audit including application audits, general control reviews and/or data analytics. You will also have an understanding of Technology assurance, compliance, or risk management (managing reviews and reporting findings).

Candidates with Network Telecommunications experience or IT Transformation experience would be preferred. Candidates should have at least one risk, audit, or governance certification OR be in the process of getting one.

Candidates can expect to travel 10% of the time and the role can be based in either Newbury or London Paddington. It is expected from September that candidates spend roughly 40% of the time in the office.
